The name "Loureiro" means bay leaf in the local language from the herbaceous aromas it displays.

Instead, Cheisa's Bocin Servaj delivers something fun and playful. The name meaning "Wild Veal" is an imaginary cow with wings that nests on the tower of the village. The flavors deliver an equally playful bouquet with florals, blackberry, licorice and dried herbs. We were lucky enough to get the last three cases in the market!

Terravista Vineyards, nestled on the stunning Naramata Bench, was founded by a couple with a shared passion for unconventional wines. They focus on Spanish varietals, which is a rarity in British Columbia, making them true pioneers in the region. What's unique about Fandango? It's all about the Albariño and Verdejo blend – an unexpected duo in BC's wine landscape. The terroir here, with its glacial soils and sunny slopes, brings out the best in these grapes. Food pairing? Ducourt family has been crafting wines in Bordeaux for over 130 years, and their Reserve de Famille is a testament to their expertise. Te Kahu comes from Craggy Range, a winery known for its dedication to single-vineyard expressions. The Gimblett Gravels Vineyard, with its unique stony soils, produces some of New Zealand's most distinctive wines. What's unique? The Gimblett Gravels are the result of a riverbed left behind by a flood in the 1860s. This terroir, combined with meticulous vineyard management, gives Te Kahu its intense, concentrated flavors. Pair this robust red with grilled steak, a juicy burger, or a hearty vegetable stew. It's the perfect companion for smoky, savory dishes.

Tucked up against the Okanagan Highland mountains, Becker Vineyard produces finessed, elegant wines from the upper terrace of the Black Sage Bench. This blend of carefully chosen Cabernet Franc 55% , Merlot 28%, Carmenere 9%, Syrah 8% spent spent almost 2 years in 50% new French oak - WHAT?! Why we chose this: This time of year calls for warm, fuzzy sweaters, and this wine reminds us of being wrapped up in a warm hug by a fireplace. WOWEE, they were not kidding when the folks at Plot named this THICK. This luscious golden blend of Viognier and Chardonnay has notes of ripe apricot and honeysuckle, with a powerful body that's been enhanced by light battonage during it's 16 months in barrel. The long lasting and weighty mouthfeel can be summed up in one word - THICK! Plot wines is a tiny producer from the Penticton area that doesn't have a tasting room, so these wines are not easy to get your hands on!

Only the best vintages are used to make this Pinot Noir from the Oregon, and we got you some! The best barrels are then chosen to produce this small quantity of deep, darkly-colored, luscious Pinot Noir. Our Citation Willamette Valley Pinot Noir has aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, blueberries, violets and cloves that join rich flavors of cocoa butter, vanilla and allspice. Fine, silky tannins frame the long lingering finish.

2019 Domaine De Villemajou, AOP Corbières Boutenac, France

Why we chose this: It's getting cold outside and this wine makes us feel warm and happy! A gorgeous blend of Carignan, Grenache noir, Syrah comes from the South of France. It's been noted as among the top 2 wines in the world according to Vivino. At our latest Winemaker's dinner, we paired this with a pepper crusted Lamb popsicle and our mouths are still watering! The punch of pepper from the Syrah really comes through. It's so well balanced and incredible value for this wine. rich and sumptuous. It is aromatically complex, with notes of notes of jammy fruit, sweet spices, leather and leather and coffee. The palate is round and soft, with beautiful fruit framed by fine-grained tannins. With such balance, this is a wine with good aging potential.
